The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) won the Nobel peace prize in 2007 for their efforts to build up and disseminate greater knowledge about man-made climate change, and to lay the foundations for the measures that are needed to counteract such change. The writing process of the next Fifth Assessment Report (AR5) has just been started.
In this symposium, the IPCC Working Group III authors of the mitigation section of the AR5 focused on climate change measures and discussed points in contention of the report.
The summaries of messages of the participants are available for download.
